My Excel Direct button in the GL and in AP works fine - opens an Excel sheet, puts the data into a table, all good.

My ExcelDirect Financial Statements menu option in the GL, and my Export Group to ExcelDirect menu option in maintain-financial reports do not work. I get a really messy .csv file instead, with all of the tabs I'm trying to create jammed on top of each other.

It has been about a year since I played with ExcelDirect. It worked fine at that time.

Adagio is on our office server with a workstation install on my C: drive. Excel is on my C: drive, Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016. Excel updates are installed automatically.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I tried the easy solution (run as administrator) and that didn't fix the problem.

I'm not comfortable messing with the registry. Would it make sense to ask our technical support person to uninstall Adagio from the server and then re-install?

Is this problem affecting every workstation or just your own?

This is embarrassing - I hadn't actually thought to test that until you asked. It's just my workstation.

Your next step is to follow the Tech Tip.

Check the \Softrak\System\SSI2XL.INI to see if there are modifications for your workstation.

I can't find any SSI2XL.INI file. The only SSI2XL file I can find is a .DLL file.

Hello C White,

Now you need to find someone who is comfortable editing the registry to help you with that part of the Tech Tip.
