In older versions of Adagio OrderEntry, it was required to print and purge the invoice and credit note audit lists in order to allow retrieval of transactions into SalesAnalysis. The OE invoice audit list file is OESHIPTR, and that temporary work file for SalesAnalysis retrieval is SRSHIPTX.
A number of years ago, I think around version 8.1D, the process changed so that it is no longer required to print and purge the audit lists in order to allow data retrieval. A different procedure occurs for SalesAnalysis to do the retrieval (data file OESSISY.dat, I believe), so that SRSHIPTX file is no longer used.
Clients who used OrderEntry and SalesAnalysis in older versions, even going back to DOS days, will have a SRSHIPTX file. Those that started using Adagio after this changeover will not.
If you ever want to know the purpose of a data file, you can use the DataDictionaryExporter.exe utility to export an Adagio Dictionary contents to Excel. Doing this for the SalesAnalysis dictionary will reveal that SRSHIPTX is titled 'S/R Invoice Audit List'.
