Is there a way to set a default specification in A/P for blank check stock?

We have a specification set as default for the bank, but when we print blank check stock, we use a different specification. It comes up without any default and we have to search through the list and find the right one every time. Since this blank check specification never changes, we would like to set the default to the one we need.

OK - I'll add the suggestion to store a separate specification for the blank check stock.

In the interim, why not delete (or move to another Folder) all the check specifications you are not using so the list to scroll through is shorter?

How are you printing blank checks? Are you using Reports | Print Blank Check Stock?

That menu choice is remembering the specification chosen for me in V8.1E of Payables. It was not remembering it in V8.1B but this has been fixed.

Not a big deal, but it would be nice if it would at least remember the last one you used or let you set a default.
