My Adagio client is moving up to three new computers with Windows 7. (The server is 2003 Std Edition.)
Based on the recommended requirements, we are going with 4 GB RAM at 3 GHz.

One question that I did not see addressed: Can we go with 32 bit, or is 64 bit recommended? (What’s the difference?)

(The client is waiting for me to get back to them so that they can place their order.)

The maximum addressable memory in a 32 bit operating system is 4 Gbytes. The number's WAY bigger in a 64 bit OS. If you're buying 64 bit CPU's (which is likely) buy the 64 bit OS. It'll have a longer life span. Adagio is happy on either platform.

A client of ours is experiencing some difficulty installing Adagio on a new computer with Win 7 - 64 bit. Agagio is being moved from an existing computer to a new one. When attempting to install it on the new computer it is coming up with the error message that Adagio is not compatible with this OS. Is there a driver that needs to be installed to make the Adagio installation work? How can a successful installation be done on the new computer?

What does: "being moved from an existing computer to a new one" mean?
Is this a stand-alone brand-new install, or is this another computer that is working off an existing installation, already on a server?

And what version of Adagio are they trying to install from their "old computer"?

John:
My personal notebook is Windows 7, 64-bit and all Adagio modules installed trouble-free. Version 8.1 and 9.0 are Vista/Windows 7 compatible. Older versions are not.
