Okay, this is a biggie.
This is about Adagio Ledger and Payables. I get the same error with both modules. This is off a Win 98 machine running the network version which is house on an NT 4.0 server, SP 6.0A.
I have searched the forum for this error to no avail. The full error is:
Critical Error: [1207] invalid path in EZCOMFIL file.
The first thing I did was to check for the file. It is in the ..\asp directory. This file houses one thing, a path to the asp directory:
N:\PROGRAM FILES\ACCPAC\ASP
This leads me to believe that the issue us a path problem.
So I changed the path to reflect a different drive mapping to the ..\accpac directory and receive the following error:
Caution: signon failed
Now, what did I do to lead up to this error? Simple. Changed just about everything in the setup.
We are migrating to a new server, and on the new server we have changed the paths of our files. Our reseller of Adagio and AccPac told us just to copy over the AccPac files to the new location and install adagio on the server and reinstall the workstation versions on the workstations.
This reflects the first path up above, the n:\program files\accpac\..
Where n: = \\017400\d
What he neglected to tell us was that AccPac needs to be on the root of the drive, so I mapped a new drive. This resulted in r:, which is equivalent to \\017400\d\program files\accpac.
This finally got AccPac to run. But now we have run into the error with Adagio.
Any thoughts?
