If that doesn't work it may be a rights issue. In my client's case, even after reinstalling Crystal, the error persisted because for some reason the user profile did not have rights to the MSVCR1?0_clr400.dll files it needed.

My client's IT person had to recreate the user profile on the network with full rights and then take away the rights he didn't want the user to have.



If the Crystal install doesn't fix it, the quickest solution would be to try re creating the user profile.
