Would like to create a quik report for receipts in IC 6.1B and the
Description field at the header is not available. Is there an update to the
accpac dictionary (ACCPAC.SSI) or is there another way to pull that field on
my report?

If you are using QRWIN (as implied by your reference to the ACCPAC.SSI dictionary), then no, there is no Description field in the IC61B Receipts table. You need to get the Receipt "Description" from the PO Header table. This is a tricky thing though, as this field can only be used if you have processed a Receipt based on a previous PO.

In other words, in IC61B, when you enter a Receipt, you can either select an original PO to attach the receipt to, or enter a blank on the Purchase order field, you are then taken to the Receipt field.

If you have selected a PO for this Receipt, after entering a Receipt number IC will automatically pull the Description you entered on the original PO and put it into the Receipt's Description field. You can choose to keep this description or enter a new one at this point.

If you did not select a PO for this receipt (ie you are entering a "cash" receipt), after entering a Receipt Number, you are at a blank description field. You now must enter your own description for this receipt. If this is how you have processed the receipt, there is no way to pull the Description entered here. However, there is a "remark" field on the Detail screen that can be reported on. If you enter your "description" here, QRWIN will report on it.

Make note that if you have entered your receipts this way, it is important to print the QRWIN report PRIOR to clearing the Receipts audit list, otherwise you will get no data on your report.
