Hi,

I'm trying to create a document filter for receipts that will only show receipts before a certain receipt number. I've attached views of two tries that came back with no results. I tried a couple of other things such as changing filter by and adding the document type field to the filter with no results. Hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

Thanks

I don't think there's a problem with your filter, but it appears from your screenshot that your filters are disabled. Check that filters box and also click the refresh button next to the dropdown filter list. That will ensure that the filter/style has been refreshed.

Sorry Bob

I disabled the filter to show the list I was filtering. When I had it enabled, and pressed the refresh button, I got zero results.

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike

Try remove the '-'
The '-' is part of the document mask and not actual part of the Document #.

You show two different versions of that filter. You certainly want to use the 'RC-' version because the document contains the 'RC-'. You could play around with a less restrictive filter like 'containing'. It's always better to start with something that shows you at least one match.

Try Chris' suggestion first. Perhaps I'm wrong about the actual content.

Thanks Chris,

That was the problem. "RC107894" worked. I thought RC was part of the mask as well since it's pre-defined and when RC-107894 didn't work I moved on.
