Here is scenario to reproduce the problem:
Create order in Adagio and ship MORE then Qty ordered. Save order. Create invoice from this order.
Order completed? field in original O header record is set to true
Order completed? field in invoice I header record is set to false

Why the values are not consistent ?

Hi Vlad,

I can replicate this behaviour that you indicated. I will forward your comments along to R&D.

I don't believe that OrderEntry uses the 'Order Complete' value on invoices and credit notes, apart from being able to display it on the grid. This is the most likely reason for the difference, since having No doesn't adversely affect any processing in OE. Do you use this field value on invoices for your applications?

Another problem that the client is bringing:

The absence of the mechanism to force the order completed? (by OE user) flag to be true
to prevent further backordering. In over words: force order complete.

(Please not that method of deleting backorder details is not acceptable )

Does Softrak has any intent to improve backorder mechanism in OE ?

If your remove the backorder quantities, the order is set up as completed. Then, you have quantity ordered and the quantity shipped to know what was not shipped.
