Installing Gridview Server for the first time........
Runs fine using the console command, but using "net start gswin", I get message:
"System 3 error has occurred"
"System cannot find the specified path"
and it does not start successfully at reboot of server.
Any idea as to what path it is looking for? (Installing on 2003 Server)

You could try searching the server's drive for "gswin". That should give you the path you need.

Then modify the command to "net start \path\gswin".

Thanks for the reply.

I was running the "net start" command from the \gswin directory on the server and I have tried "net start G:\softrak\gswin\gswin" from the \gswin directory.

"Gswin -install auto" seemed to run without incident, but a reboot of the server reveals an error of something similar to "a service did not start properly".

I think I am looking for an inproper setting in the ini file or maybe some setting that was written to the registry during installation.

As additional information, I installed the app last week and sent off the registration info. Today when I was going to enter the liscense key and complete the testing of the setup, I found only two files in the gswin directory and re-ran the setup.
