When creating a new vendor in Adagio invoices, it will not let me get away with creating a new vendor unless I add a salesperson, which I don't want to have to do as I don't use that function at all. Any way out of that?

I assume you really mean customer, not vendor.

In Adagio Receivables, add a salesperson called "HOUSE" and make that the salesperson for the time being. Interestingly, our documentation has always stated that a salesperson was required, and we only started enforcing this requirement in V8.1A

After an internal discussion, we have decided that this is really an unnecessary restriction, and will lift the requirement in an upcoming service pack to Adagio Receivables.

I assume you mean 'Customer' instead of 'Vendor'.

This was something added to Receivables and Invoices 81A, but we've also release a service pack to relax this. If you don't want to enter Salespersons, get a hold of the Receivables and Invoices 81A hot fixes.
