These are not compatible with Accpac + for DOS GL 7.0. Your comp listing says they are. I wasted several hours yesterday installing & then removing with a roll back. Don't the programers test before the put on a compatibility list saying they are compatible.
I then found out that Softrak found out about this 2 days earlier but did not notify it's resellers of the issue.
OK, all that said when is the fix going to be available.
Also while I am dumping my bucket, where is the new Contacts with Quotes that was to be out at the end of last year as I was told when I bought Contacts last summer?

The modules are creating general ledger batches that can be retrieved by ACCPAC GL V7.0 which is where the compatibility information was taken from. In our testing, we were mostly checking against various versions of Adagio. We do not (and cannot) test and install against every possible permutation and combination of ACCPAC Plus and Adagio.

Hot Fixes addressing this issue will be on our web site today or tomorrow. I'll post here when I know they are available.

Individuals who have been in touch with us directly are being e-mailed the fixes directly as they are available.

To be honest, given the functionality of Adagio Ledger, we're surprised that anyone is still using the ACCPAC Plus General Ledger (but there are a few out there).

We have been working on the update to Adagio Contacts that contains quoting, and we expect an updated beta to be made available to our Partners next week. We discovered today that one of our sites has been running it live for the last week or so (much to our surprise). I'm hoping it will ship this fall. If you want, I'll make sure that you're told when an updated beta is available if you'd like to give it a look.

By my off the cuff estimate, I think that our R&D schedule has slipped about 8 months with the issues we've been dealing with to be compatible with Microsoft Vista. It's been a nasty surprise for everyone (including Great Plains - owned by Microsoft). Rolling out updates to 20 products hasn't been much fun here either! (sigh)

This weekend all our Partners are gathering in Vancouver to see what we have planned for the next year. I'm sure that they'll have some comments about ways we could improve.

The Hot Fixes for BankRec, Payables, Receivables and Invoices were all posted to our web site this afternoon and made available to our Partners (they don't have the same level of documentation or testing as a service pack).

Thank's for the info. The only reason we continue to use Plus GL is because Adagio GL does not have 2 year history function available. We actualy would like to see more years available. When u can give us more than 1 year history, we will make the switch. We want out of the DOS prog yesterday. We are also forced to continue to use DOS Quote Master because no alternative from Softrak.

Hi Les,

Adagio FX would allow you to report several years of history on your financial statements if you're really anxious to get off DOS. Alternatively, you could place the comparatives as values in the Adagio Ledger financial statement (since they're not likely to change) for comparative purposes.

Having said that, Adagio Ledger V9.0 will support unlimited years of detail history when it's released in November. There may be a beta available before then.

I'm sorry about the delay in releasing the quoting functionality in Adagio Contacts. Hopefully early in the fall.

I assume you are working on a GL hotfix that will resolve the problem with 8.1A when trying to Excel Direct negative figures (they pass to Excel as zeroes).

I don't see GL in the list of recently issued hotfixes.
