If the report files (.rpt) for IC8.0a are in the ICWin directory instead of the StandardRP directory, can I just create the StandardRP directory and move the files over or will I need to reinstall the application? I realized this problem while creating the CustomRP directory for custom reports.

Thanks,

Hello doswalt,

Just to be clear, the StandardRP directory for Inventory is underneath the ICWIN directory. There shouldn't be any .RPT files in your ICWIN directory, if V8.0A installed correctly.

Andrew,
As the program is now installed the \ICWIN\StandardRP directory does not exit and all *.rpt files are in the \ICWIN directory.

Thanks,

Hmmm.

According to the release notes the move of the RPT's to the StandardRP directory occurred with Version 8.0A, so perhaps the install did not complete normally? Is there a StandardRP directory under your \SOFTRAK\ICWIN subdirectory?

I might be tempted to uninstall and re-install Inventory (don't forget to apply the various Service Packs). Of course, if Inventory 8.0A is running fine, then it should be happy picking up a report from either the \ICWIN\CustomRP or \ICWIN\ModRP subdirectories.

I'm sure you know that Inventory is now shipping V8.0B.

Andrew,
The StandardRP directory does not exit.

I have been waiting until we can completely get away from ACCPAC IC and SA to upgrade to the IC8.0B. This should be accomplished within the next few days.

Thanks for the info.
