We are having a couple of different modules not printing a report, simply "flashing" and going back to the original screen.

One of these reports if out of the ledger, when I try to print the report "Chart of Accounts". I put in the starting account (the first one) and the ending account (the last one) and click preview. Just a quick "flash" and then nothing happens. I click all the different report styles and the different destinations, to no avail.

We are also having a problem in inventory with the report stock cards and item status, but only on one lead in number. Is there anything that could be causing this to happen only on the one product code group? Reports generated for this "group" simply flash and never show up on preview or print.

Hi, We have observed these same symptoms as well, in various modules.

The problem appears to be either corruption in your \Softrak\Dict dictionary files or dictionary files out of synch with your installed software version, and it affects the Crystal Reporting of selected reports. Correcting the specific dictionary file resolves the problem.

You can either install the product module(s) again (to refresh your dictionary files) or contact your dealer to get a working copy (zipped) of his/her current dictionary files, and replace into your dictionary, assuming you are on current versions of the Adagio Software and your dealer has all of your versions installed, as well.

Hi Brian,

We'd strongly recommend against just "copying in" files into the Adagio \DICT directory. Re-installing the application should fix any problems of this nature and won't affect any of the data or settings.

Another reason has been found for reports not printing sporadically. Complete details are here.
