Hi:

We have a client who just upgraded to Adagio Invoices 8.0A (060328) from QI DOS.

We are having a problem with the Invoice layout.

On my computer, the Invoice form fills the page nicely. However on the client's computer, the footer is normal but prints about 1.5 inches too high. The vertical lines continue below the footer.

Note:
-I used one of the sample Invoices as the base for the Invoice
-I made the footer smaller & extended the vertical lines
-Both Page Footer and Last Page Footer are 1.33 inches high
-The Header prints as the correct size
-I checked Paper Size - both are Letter
-I checked Unicode under Regional Settings - it didn't help

What environmental factors determine where the footer prints? Could it be a metric/imperial issue?

Yes - this can be a metric/imperial measure issue (although I haven't seen it manifest itselfthis way before). Check the user's computer and make sure that the user's regional settings are the same as yours were when you designed the form.

Specifically the 'Advanced' tab and the drop-down for the 'non-Unicode programs'. It could be 'English (US)' or 'English (Canada)'

The problem is solved!

As suggested, the solution was to go to Control Panel | Regional and Language Options and adjust the "Regional Options" tab.

My computer read "English (United States)" but our client's read "English (Canada)". Once I made their's the same as mine, the invoice worked perfectly.
