A client has a customer (the government) that is requiring that they use EDI to process orders. They only have a few each month.

There is no need to have a full EDI integration with Adagio. They don't mind keying in the orders into Adagio.

Is there a service that they can use to satisfy the customer's needs?

If they don't want integration that just about any EDI VAN service provider will work. Most VAN's provide an online service that you can use to collect your orders and send back the responses. Many of the Big Box stores provide their own solution for low volume vendors cutting out the cost of using a middleman (the VAN).

We (LInk2Systems) have an EDI solution that is a monthly subscription. We bypass the VAN by pushing the file layout to the SFTP folder of the customer/vendor or allow vendors to pull from an inhouse SFTP folder.. This solution is not transaction count based or byte based, but a monthly affordable charge that can send files hourly/daily/weekly/monthly.
