Using the import function in Adagio ledger to import monthly financial tranactions from our in house sysyem into Agagio ledger received the following error on 2 of the fields with date values.

"Invalid Date '05/31/2006' in field called 'Fiscal Date" in record 1" Receive same error for field Transaction Date. Receive these errors for all records.

Spoke with our database guy here and he sugguested it may be the windows system date. I tried every date combo I could and received the eooror each time.

If I open the database this is the date format in each of the 2 fields that are failing: 05/31/2006

Check under Start / Control Panel / Regional and language options / Short date.

It should be mm/dd/yyyy

Running import now and is working so far. Will post further when completed.

The import worked correctly. Thank you for your help. It has lead to a new question about a report that I'll post in a new question.

I am trying to import a csv file and get the same error. I have tried to set the system date as detailed and I still get the "Invalid Date '05/31/2006' in field called 'Fiscal Date" in record 1" I do not get an error on the trasnaction date however. It is set to ascii YYYYMMDD format.

I had no issue with this previously but recently I installed a Ledger patch.
