In the recent update to JobCosting, the "New Features" notes claim: "Transactions now support an Accounting Date separate from the Document Date".

I am checking this out in Sample Data. I do not see an Accounting Date in any of Costs, Bills or Timecards.

Does this have to be activated somewhere?
I do not see an option to activate this in the JC Company Profile.
Am I missing something? Is there an option somewhere else in JC for Accounting Date?

JobCost treats Accounting date the same way as the other Adagio modules. The option: Allow Edit of Accounting Date, needs to be selected. This option is on the System Settings tab in JobCost 9.3A.

Question: We are using Invoices with JC.
Is it possible to enter an Accounting Date in the Invoices module when entering an Invoice?
Occasionally we enter an Invoice Date early in the month, but we would like to post the transaction to the previous Period.

Yes, Adagio Invoices has the option: Allow Edit of Accounting Date. It is also on the System Settings tab in Invoices 9.3B.

I opened the Invoices Sample Data from the JobCost module, as well as from the Invoices module.
I am using IN 9.3B (240110).
On the System options tab, why is the option: Allow Edit of Accounting Date hidden?

That's what we need to do.
Okay, I see that only if the Receivables has this option selected, does it appear in the Invoices options.
