I think this is correct for your site;

d:\softrak\dcwin\dcwin.exe /uDC /pDC /dp:\data /edat /rALL /q

Here is the contents of the help file describing how to use the Windows Scheduler in Windows XP.

Open the Windows control panel by selecting the Start button and selecting Control Panel from the menu.

Double-click Scheduled Tasks. The Scheduled Tasks folder window will open. This window displays all the tasks you currently have scheduled.

Click the Add Scheduled Task icon. The Scheduled Task Wizard will open.

Click Next to continue.

A list of applications will open. Select Adagio DataCare from the list, or click the Browse button and select the Adagio DataCare program (exe) file from your computer. This is usually \softrak\dcwin\dcwin.exe.

Click Next.

Enter a name for the task, then indicate how frequently you want to run the task. For our purposes, usually you will enter Daily.

Click Next.

Now select the time of day you want the scheduled task to begin, the frequency, and the start date. You will probably want to select a time in the evening when no one is using the system. And normally you will choose Weekdays only, unless data entry is done on weekends at your company.

Click Next.

Now enter the machine name and a user name. It will appear as though this user has logged in. Enter this in the Enter the user name field in this format: MYMACHINE/User.

Enter the password of the user and confirm this by entering it again in the final field on this window.

Click Next.

The Task Wizard will now tell you that you have successfully scheduled this task. Be sure to click the Open advanced properties field before clicking Finish.

When you do, the Advanced properties window will open. Here you will need to add parameters to the command line for this task. This works in the same manner as adding parameters to the command lines for Adagio module icons (See your Adagio Fundamentals manual). Edit the contents of the run field to include the parameters in this example:

C:\softrak\dcwin\dcwin.exe /uSYS /pSYS /dC:\softrak\data /edat /rMYJOB /q

Note that SYS and SYS are the system administrator?s user ID and password. MYJOB is the code (name) of the Job you want to schedule to run. The /q parameter will close Adagio DataCare when the Job run is complete.

Now click the Schedule tab. If you are running this task after midnight, select to schedule it Weekly and select the days of the week to run the task. Schedule Tuesday to Saturday. This will run the task after midnight for every workday of the week.

Click OK and the window will close. The task is now scheduled to run.

Question for you...
C:\softrak\dcwin\dcwin.exe /uSYS /pSYS /dC:\softrak\data /edat /rMYJOB /q

requires that the data name is without spaces.

What happens when the data (edat) is two words that are separated by a space?

I have tried an ampersand to fill in the space but this doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Put the data path in quotes.

Quotes around the file name worked. I also needed to change the edat to eadb to acknowledge the new Adagio format for files.
Thank you for that tip - I am relieved.
