Hello, I have been running BankRec to do my recs every month and it has worked fine. This month, however, as soon as I imported my bank data, Adagio, without me selecting "Automatch" or doing anything, Matched one of the bank transactions. There is no corresponding match on the books side. So, I cannot link the appropriate books transaction and cannot balance my bank.
Resetting the pending reconciliation button does not clear it either.

Additionally, when I ran auto-match, the function mismatched transactions. I don't know what has happened to my BankRec module over the last month but now it is useless.

Please advise.

Which version of BankRec are you using?

Try running the BankRec Data Integrity Check. If it offers an option to Rebuild errors try that. Make sure you do a backup first.

This could be a difficult problem to solve in this forum. You should reach out to your Adagio Consultant for assistance.

I wanted to try on here first as my Adagio Consultant said they would charge to investigate.

If I could see the data, likely I could figure this out fairly quickly but that is beyond what I can do in this forum.

Maybe check if you have any statement rules setup to see if the transaction you are importing is matching one of the rules.
