Is there a straightforward way of deleting a bunch of old Receipts, without deleting others from the same time frame?

The client is getting Data Integrity Errors because Sundry Items have been deleted that were on Receipts, and the solution would be to delete the Receipts, if I could. Or add the items back, which is not the preferred solution.

You would have to use Achieve documents to move current receipts to history but their is no way to do just the Receipts.

You can then purge history, where you can control the dates for each document type.

To prevent this problem I recommend that the PO documents be achieved and purged on a regular basis. You just have to keep the Sundry item until the old documents make their way through this process.

Looks like I found another use for GridView ReadWrite.

Hi Steve,
We do this periodically with GV R/W to clear out the receipts and balance to the Open Receipts reports and Receipt Clearing GL account.
I'll take a look at our work orders to let you know what fields have to be reset to make them disappear, and then run the Archive to flush out.
And set your archive setting to skip the DIC part.
It will work.
