Hi, I'm trying to catch up on the software and service pack upgrades. Where can I find the password, SN, install codes. I might have deleted it from my emails.
Thanks,
Lynn

Contact Customer Service (info@softrak.com or 1-800-663-9798) and ask them to send you your codes.

I tried calling but keep getting the voice mail.
I'll send an email.

Because of excessive workload in 2017 the upgrades have not been done would that be a reason why the modules are very slow in opening and closing. And that it takes forever to view a report?

Also, when an upgrade and service pack have the same dates is it preferable to do the upgrade instead of the service pack? Because when I look on the Softrak website for upgrades and service packs it the same release notes. This confuses me.

Thanks Andrew.

Hi Lynn

Slowness is not due to older versions of Adagio.

Slowness is most often due to your anti-virus software being improperly configured. It needs to exclude the \Softrak folder both on the server and the workstations. One way to test this is to uninstall (not disable, uninstall) your anti-virus software temporarily and see if it is the culprit.

If not, then ask your consultant for advice. This is beyond the scope of the Adagio forum.

Check what version of a module you are currently using. If it is the same version you want to install but an older date (YYMMDD), then install the service pack. If it is an older version, then install the upgrade. It's one or the other - you won't need both.

Thanks Steve I'll have my IT guy verify the Anti-Virus. But isn't risky to not have the anti-virus for the accounting?

Andrew Bates told me to contact customer service which I did by email on Friday, I received an acknowledgement that a certain Amilia Jury read it but I still haven't received the information for me to do the upgrades. Is there someone else I could ask.

Thanks
Lynn

Hi Lynn

Don't permanently uninstall the anti-virus, just see if temporarily uninstalling it makes a difference.

You don't want your anti-virus software check the Softrak folder. Make regular backups in case of a virus. The small risk is worth the speed improvement.

As for "someone else", ask your Adagio consultant; that's what they are there for.
