If you Preview a check rather than print it to paper, do you see the same issue with missing colour? Or perhaps preview with a different printer driver such as AdagioV2PDF. I'm trying to isolate whether the printer driver or the print job is related to this scenario.

Also, in an attempt to compare apples to apples, could you also edit your check spec from Maintenance / Maintain Specifications, and preview from there? Just to see if your background colour appears within the designer program.

The preview shows the colour and I've also checked in the specs and the colour shows there as well

I feel like it's not a printer issue since the background colour is printing fine on reports. It's just missing on the cheques which is very odd

Problems that require a lot of explanation are not always easy to solve on this forum. Some issues are easier to resolve by an Adagio expert actually has their hands on the problem.

So far I'm not even clear on what background color you are referring to, as cheques are not normally printed with a background color out of Adagio. Also, if the preview output is correct but the printer output is not, then it's almost always a printer issue.

You may find that contacting your Adagio consultant will get this issue resolved much faster.

We released a Hot Fix for Adagio Payables 9.3A yesterday, to fix a problem integrating with another printing solution.

A second site ran into a colour problem similar to yours, and I just received notification that installing this hot fix resolved their issue.

I will also let your Adagio consultant know about this, as we have been communicating on your behalf.

This happened to me in a statement I was editing in AR.... My problem (with a text box in the statement showing background colour in my print preview, then not printing the background colour when I printed it ended up being something to do with a box I had ticked off in the Maintain Specifications/Statement Editing area. It was a tick box on one of the fields when I was attempting to change the background colour. I think it had the word transparent in it. Hope this helps in any way.
