Any idea why this would suddenly appear? The client uses GL and AP and this morning, she got the following error when logging into AP:

The reports Tables drive [S:\] does not point to valid Reports Tables for this program.

General Ledger works fine. This error is happening on all workstations.

She checked the SetReportsTableDrive utility and the reports table was correct.
Drive mappings have not been dropped.

The error suggest a reinstall, which is what she is going to do, but of course, she also wants to know why this has happened and I don't have an answer for that.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Carol,

When we used to see this happen, often changing the report table drive to another letter, C: and then back to S: would fix the problem for us. It is faster than reinstalling, and you don't have to get everyone out to do it. I've seen it happen when the user tried to connect to Adagio without their S: drive mapped, but by the time you're connected later, or they go to check, it is mapped. But since they weren't connected to the S: drive when they initially tried to connect the settings got reset.

Lauren

At the time that the Adagio module was launched, it was not possible to find a \QRASP Folder under the root of the volume from which the module was launched.

Thanks, I suggested this -- not sure did it correctly, since she said it didn't work.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the reply. I know that is what the error is saying. What seems very odd to me is that GL can be launched from the same workstation. I would think that if it could not be found in AP, the same would hold true for GL, but obviously, I'm missing something here.
Thanks and regards,
Carol

Versions? Recent releases of Adagio no longer need or use the Report Tables Drive.

Carol:

To answer your question we need to know the version numbers for AP and GL. Maybe the version of GL uses the new Crystal and your version of AP uses the old Crystal.
