After installing the ledger upgrade, we can only print single-sided

We will print double sided and even double sided, 2 pages per side when needed, simply to conserve paper, so 60 pages of print uses only 15 peices of paper.
I printed a large batch, and changed the settings to double side, 2 pages per side, but the printout still came out as single sided.

But when printing to the same printer seconds later from the a/p, a/r or invoicing we can still print double sided and double sided, 2 pages per side.

I did a quick test with our HP printer that supports double sided printing. I had to edit the printing properties to enable the double-sided printing within the Ledger report, but indeed it was ignored as you indicated. Doing the same change for a Receivables report had the print-out on both sides of the page.

For now to save paper, perhaps you could print the Ledger reports to the AdagioPDF printer driver, and if you require double-siding printing then that could be accomplished by using Adobe to print the PDF.

I have a client with the same issue. GL9.2A GL reports fail to print double-sided on an HP laserjet P2055. Just wondering about the progress on this item? Requiring the extra steps of printing reports through the PDF option works as a short term solution.

We are currently investigating what is happening with double-sided printing of the standard reports. A solution is not imminent.

Another possible workaround - if printing to a PDF file is not desirable - is to preview the report first. From the preview window, click the Print Report button at the top-left (second button from the left), and from here, edit the printer Preferences to enable the double-sided printing. Printing in this way from the preview window will correctly generate the report on both sides of the paper.

Double sided printing seems to work, but if I try double-sided, 2 per page, it will only print double-sided 1 per page.

Where are you setting "double sided, 2 per page"? What make/model of printer are you using?

We ran the Payables upgrade. Now Payables will not recognize the manual paper tray on that printer. This will be a problem, because we have pre-printed, numbered cheque stock that we use. We normally print them using the manual paper feed tray, so the cheque numbers are assigned properly (i.e. the first cheque on the top of the pile is #1, and pulled off first, then #2, #3, etc. etc.)

The paper drawer would print them using the bottom cheque first (i.e. if we put in 100 cheques, it would print #100 first, then #99, #98, etc, but the program would think it's printing #1, #2, #3, etc).
