I'm confused I'm working on a copy of my client's m/c dataset. The MC Lite notes say that in order to implement the MC Lite in OrderEntry, you need to turn on the MC Lite in IC. However, when configuring the MC Lite, it tells me that my IC needs to be updated - I'm using the latest version of IC 6.8B (031107. The notes further say that Softrak is not currently shipping an MC Lite capable releasse of Adagio Inventory. No problem, my client also uses Price Lists in Order Entry. My workaround was to rename the ICGLOB so it wouldn't be recognized, then went ahead and enable MC Lite in Order Entry. Then I renamed the ICGLOB to the original extension. Everything seems to work ok, but I just wanted to clarify the note regarding 'MC Lite has been turned on in IC (if present.'

Adagio OE MC Lite requires Adagio Inventory be MC Lite as well. As you have noticed in the document though, we have not released an MC Lite version of IC yet. OE is checking the ICGLOB file to ensure MC Lite is on in IC. Renaming the file bypasses the check. However, OE MC Lite will not function correctly unless IC is also MC Lite. The message you see is indicating IC needs to be updated to the MC Lite version, but this version has not yet been released.

OE MC Lite is only a solution when used with a "Price List", meaning stand-alone OE, with no IC. Not to be confused with "Special Prices" in OE.

We are gauging the level of interest in MC Lite as a solution before completing other modules such as Inventory and Invoices. The level of interest will help determine whether we should allocate resources to completing other MC Lite modules or apply resources to releasing full multi-currency versions.
