That the problem happens only on one company data set, and for all printers attempted, suggests that the cause of the problem is not the printer driver but the company data. Probably 19% into the check number audit list file, there is a corrupted record. I don't believe that data integrity checks and reports errors on audit list data files, due to their data structure type.
If you own Adagio GridView, you could look at the contents of the data by creating a view on the A/P Check Audit table. I suspect that you'll find one or more records with greek-looking characters, or at least something invalid.
You probably will need the assistance of your Adagio consultant to repair the file.
