Dear Team,

I want to modify the Overdue Receivables Specs to remove shade at bottom of report so that, when printed on black and white laser and faxed to client the figures are legible to the receiver.

Any assistance welcomed.

Thanks

Hi Edward,

Have you tried unchecking the "Shade..." options in the File | User Preferences | Report Options area ?

Remember also that if logged in as Sys you heve the option of updating for all users at once but you may have to be careful with this in case many persons have customised many of their settings.

Pete

PS: Of course there's always emailing a .PDF cool

It sounds like your client is faxing a statement to their client.

Since you can send a statement directly from the Customer View screen, why not design a Form that shows the information they want to transmit to the customer?

A client's statement can be formatted to show all the information on the Overdue Receivables report, except the comments and notes. Specifically, you can place the amounts in different aging columns, which might be what they are looking for.

Or perhaps they are sending the report off to another office? In that case, generating the report as a PDF and e-mailing it would result in more readable output. AdagioPDF can do this easily.

Or perhaps I'm mistaken as to what you are trying to accomplish.

Thanks guys both responses works for me. The easy fix, which actually works fine is to simply change shade color to white.

The latter I would do if I could not get a simple solution.

Have a great day..

Edward
