Is their any quick way to do this upgrade ? I have to re-write all reports that were written with a different version. In other words all reports writen from AR6.1 have to be redone because I have installed AR 6.5

Chapter 11 in the QR manual covers conversion of reports. If you only upgraded AR from 61 to 65, your AR reports created with AR61 tables will not have to be rewritten. You will just have to follow the simple conversion steps.

The correct install/upgrade order is:
1. ACCPAC Plus core modules
2. Quik Reports (DOS and/or Windows)
3. All other 3rd Party applications
4. Quik History (if used)

If you have not performed the upgrades in this order, you will have problems with your reports. QR must be reinstalled even if only upgrading your ACCPAC modules, as above.

If you also upgraded your QR at the same time, then there is a procedure to follow for converting your reports first to the new version of QR, then to the new version tables of your other applications.

IF you have upgraded QR from version 6.0 or earlier, you are correct. Your reports will have to be rewritten. If this is not the case, the information in Chapter 11, will guide you through the process if you take the time to read it through.
