I am trying to set up an inventory movement report that will show for each item number the receipts and shipments during the selected period.

However, I cannot seem to get both receipts and shipments to link in the same report even though they appear to be linked by items number in the visual linking window.

If I add the fields for shipments first, the report is fine until I add fields from receipts. Then, when I select Preview, QR says it cannot link the fields from IC65.Receipts.

If I create a new report with receipts fields, it is fine until I add shipments fields when QR cannot link IC65.shipments.

In both cases I am using Item number from the IC Items field to key on.

Am I missing something simple here?

Hello Ralph,

The Shipments and Receipt audit lists do not have an index in them. That means that both of them are trying to act as the driving file on this report.

Unfortunately, there is no way to redo the links to have both of these files on it.

The Transaction History table may contain the information you are looking for.
