Hi, Susan,

Do you have a backup of your data from before the errors occurred as well as after? I'm wondering if you could zip it up (would need GL/AP/IC/PO and AR/OE if you send info from OE to PO also, otherwise not) and upload it to our database repair site. We'd like to take a closer look at it.

I'll email you with instructions.

I sent my data a couple of weeks ago.. any updates?

We are still having problems with integrity errors in POA. We get the "actual number of vendors" error every night (I suppose until the receipt with the problem moves to history). Plus we have been getting some other errors, "Quantity on purchase order per item record 6, Quantity on purchase order IR line records, 0". We were able to click Fix to resolve this. We also got the error, "Quantity on Purchase Order (0) doesn't match quantity in IC Locations (0). We were also able to fix this one. Last night we had an Application error in Adagio Inventory saying "Item TV 32CL708 total quantity on hand is 0, but should be 20". Data Repair Phanse - "Correcting Phase 2 Errors Item TV32CL708 has total quantity on hand set to 20.00".

I'm not sure what's going on here but it seems to be stemming from an issue in POA. We haven't done anything unusual or new other than installing a hot fix to correct the due date issue when it posts to AP.

Does anyone know if there was a solution for the POA issue described by Susan Tennier?

One of my clients is experiencing the exact same problem. They did a data integrity on the weekend, and received the following error on a number of items:

"Quantity purchase order per item record XX, Quantity on purchase order IR line records 0".

The client clicked on “Fix All”. Adagio integrity check then listed the items as “Fixed”:

Item number : XXXXXXXX – Quantity on Purchase Order (0) does not match quantity in IC Locations (0). Location = 1 .. Fixed.

The client thought that everything was okay. However, when they used Adagio yesterday, they realized that “Quantity on PO” is now showing zero for all the items, even those with backorder on PO.

The client is using PO 8.1B(110325) and IC 8.1C(101104) plus other modules.

I will take a closer look at the data but would appreciate if someone can offer a suggestion on how to fix the problem.

Thanks,

If integrity errors were found and 'fixed', but the nature of the integrity problems were such that Rebuild set incorrect values, then the best course of action is to restore data from a backup. The data may also need to be repaired.

Thank you for your response.

The client cannot restore from backup. They did not realize that ALL (yes, "ALL") the “Quantity on PO” in IC module was incorrectly set to zero by Adagio Data Integrity Check until after they had too many transactions.

The incorrect quantity on PO is making the inventory re-order process very difficult, so the client is getting the data repaired.

I recieved the data and ran a DIC in PO.
First time thru it did set the IC Qty on PO to zero.
An Additional DIC in PO then set the IC Qty on PO correctly.
You should always perform the Check/Rebuild until there are no errors.

I'm not sure if this is relevant to your conversation, but we do what we can to fix integrity errors in POA and correct manually whatever possible. If the errors still won't go away in POA integrity check, we let them move to history. When we run integrity check in POA, we do not check history. I know we have some errors in history that we've never been able to resolve, but they don't cause any issue.

Your thread was hijacked by the "Qty on PO" issue. My answer has nothing to do with the the issue you described.
