Using the table "*OE Ord Detail w Head, Head Ext", the field "Print Status" appears as 0, 1 or 2. How can I tell Gridview that if the status is 0 to display "not printed, if the status is 1 to display "back order printed" and if the status is 2 to display "pick list printed"?

Hi Susan, the option you're looking for is called "Translate coded fields", you can enable it by editing the table's definition.

"Translate coded fields" is checked.. but it still displays as 0, 1, 2.

Hi Susan

I just created a view matching your description above, and when I turned on "Translate coded fields", the print status field changed from numbers to words. So it should work for you too.

I am using version 9.0C (101001).

Maybe because mine is a linked view?

Try it as a not-linked view and see what you get. Or even just create the simplest possible view with the Print Status field on there and prove me wrong (or right).

When I use the table from OE it works as you describe, but it doesn't work when using the table from the Composite Tables.

The OE Table has all the fields I need so I switched tables and it's good now. Thanks!
