Can posting of payments to orders be prevented in OrderEntry?

Hi, Dave,

There's no option to do this in OE, although we could enter a suggestion for it for you. If there's no Check # (even for a credit card payment) entered with the payment, it won't be processed; however, this doesn't prevent the payment from being entered in OE.

I have a client who has payments occasionally being entered on orders (no one thinks they are doing it) and they should never receive payment on an invoice.

I've entered a suggestion to add an option to prevent accepting payments for you.

It is possible to add the 'Last Updated By' (incl'g date and time) field to the Order, Invoice and/or Credit Note grid so you also available as spec codes. These might be helpful.
