I just upgraded from Adagio Receivables version 8.01 to version 9.0B we are having an issue in our Glaspak version 4.06. It seem that GlasPak cannot find the charts of accounts file (ARGLAC'D)which was located on our server F:/GTS/account. I am hoping it was just installed to a different file lcation.
The client machine is using Windows 7 and the Server is Server 2003. Thanks for your help.

If you have just upgraded from AR 8.1 to AR 9.0 and are running GlasPak, the chart of accounts will not be the only file it cannot find. It also won't be able to find your customer master (ARCUST) when it goes looking, as the name of that file has changed in the new version. You will have to change the way that you integrate Glaspak and Adagio Receivables. Instead of having GlasPak read those files directly, you will have to enter the information it's looking for manually.

The import file that GlasPak creates of the invoices it generates should still be able to be retrieved by Adagio Receivables. That process hasn't changed.

I seriously recommend talking to an Adagio consultant about the changes between the two versions. Did you read the Release Notes for all the intermediate versions before installing the upgrade?

That wasn't good news. Is it possible to uninstall and revert back to the old version 8.01? It did create a backup of the old version of the Adagio database. Not sure if it's possible. I am trying to explore all options. Talking to a consultant might be the only option at this point. I also did read the release notes, but could not find anything in reference to GlasPak. Maybe I missed it. Thanks for your help.

These clients will have to start entering customers in both GlasPak and Adagio Receivables whereas prior to the update it was done automatically, is that correct?

If you can import or export customers from Glaspac, you can export or import them into Receivables as an automated process.

The only difference from before is that it used to happen automatically in the background whereas now someone would have to make to appropriate menu choices.
