Does anyone successfully run Adagio on a wireless network with 10 or more workstations?

Do wireless networks typically work as well as wired for running Adagio?

We are looking into upgrading our network cabling (we recently learned that some of it is Cat-5, which is fairly old), and were debating re-running Cat-6 cable vs. going to a wireless network. We have 10 win 7 workstations running Adagio, within a space of about 4000 square feet. I am concerned about speed and reliability, and also don't want to introduce any new problems due to the wireless element with multiple people posting at once, etc.
We have one IT person telling us that a high-end router should work fine, another who does not recommend wireless networks for business at all. Any thoughts?

I would never, EVER run Adagio over a wireless network unless I was using a Remote Desktop to actually run Adagio. Losing the network connection for even a millisecond while Adagio is running is uniformly fatal to the Adagio session. Pulling cable where existing cable already exists usually isn't that big an issue. Drop the IT person recommending that configuration.

Perhaps the old cabling explains some of the hardware problems you've been experiencing over the years?
