I received an error message on my GL Cash account "Damaged Data Computed balance of $311,761.97 does not equal stored balance of $273,061.70." The correct cash balance should be $273,061.70 and is property reflected in the Cash Account Totals.
I ran an itegrity check and everything was good. It did not idicate a corrupt file. I had a backup of this file, so I use the backup and posted the batches, the results came out the same. Should I simply ignore it? This is a large file, and I DO NOT want to re-enter the batches. Unless, maybe I can export the unposted batch and set up a new company to receive the batches.
How can I export a batch to another company?

This is a classic case of data corruption, despite your sentence to the contrary.

What version of GL are you using? If it is the latest (version 9.0C), then I would be willing to bet that it will find the data corruption and also that it will fix it when you click on Rebuild. Just make sure to backup your data before attempting this.

If it is not the latest version, you ought to upgrade.

If you are running the current version, and have a batch that results in a corrupt GL after it is posted, we would VERY MUCH like a copy of that data.

Indeed my GL is 9.0B. i will upgrade to 9.0C. Do you think once I upgrade my problem will be fixed?
