I realize that it is possible to delete customers one by one, but is there an easy way to delete all customers that have been inactive for say 2 years?

The company split a long while ago, and, as a result, many inactive customers are left on the system. In the past, there had supposedly been a way to select the number of years of inactivity and delete all customers falling in that category.

Dakota software's Toolkit for Adagio, specifically the Customer Changer module, will help with this.

It allows you to import a list of customers to be combined into a single customer code. You can then delete that customer.

Saves a lot of time and works really well for a number of our clients.

Adagio Receivables V9.0 has both a "Mark inactive customers" and "delete inactve customers" menu choices.

Personally, I think that the Toolkit for Adagio is a better solution at sites with many modules, because combining the obsolete customers correctly updates all the associated invoice and sales analysis historical data.
