Hi Suresh!
This has been reported before on certain environments and is hard to duplicate. Here are some suggestions that may help you, if you are printing to a file in order to clear certain report without having to print them...
Option 1
With some versions of Windows and printer drivers, you can tell your printer to print "Offline". This will send all print jobs to a queue that you can later clear out. To speed things up a bit, you can set up your printer as a desktop icon, then all you have to do is right-click and choose to 'print offline'.
If you cannot do this with your version of Windows and/or printer driver, then install a different printer driver that will accommodate this, & set it up on your desktop along with your normal Windows default printer. Set the 'new' printer to print offline all the time. When necessary, just right-click and select this printer as the Default Windows printer. When you actually have to print to a printer again, just reverse the procedure to set your normal printer back to the default again. (Every so often, you can clear the print jobs that accumulate in your 'offline' printer.)
Option 2
Set up a 'new' Windows printer that prints to FILE by default. Use the Windows 'Generic Text' driver for this printer. Use the method described above to right-click and change this to the default printer until you are finished printing with Adagio, then change back to your normal default printer again.
Using both options described above, you can then just click the Adagio Print button and not change the destination.
R&D is working on finding a resolution to these intermittent occurences of the Error 524, but until then you can use the above suggestions.
Also, please always check the version and release date of the Adagio products you are using with what is current on our website. Keeping current versions installed may help to eliminate some problems as they become fixed and released!
