Our products have some 3 digits and 4 digits in numbers. Since Accpac-Plus, the 3 digits numbers we entered with a space in front on the item field. We noticed on Adagio whenever we looked up on the item--transaction history--load, the “receipts” do not show up on any of the items with 3 digits. Right now the only place we can view “receipts” is Purple PO. The 4 digits items have not problems.

What function are you performing (ie, what do you mean by 'lookup') that doesn't show these items with leading spaces? I presume you are using the F6 SmartFinder. We are aware of a problem of items with leading spaces not being found by the SmartFinder if you search using the criteria 'Item number = 123' or something similar. The search works if you use 'Item number contains 123'.

Or is the scenario that you set a range of item numbers for the history lookup, and those items with leading spaces are not loaded into the grid? This seems to be working fine for me when I try this scenario.

It's the IC--Item Inquiry (where you can view Profile,Quantity,Transaction History, etc.)--Transaction History--select transactions all--Load. The receipts will not show up for any 3 digits items, but ok for 4 digits items.

When I use the Transaction History function within the Item Inquiry with Sales and Costs, I am able to see Receipts loaded for items that have leading spaces in the item code. So there is something different happening with your company IC data and what I see in my test environment.

What is your Item Format as defined in the IC company profile? This means both the overall length of your item codes, how many segments are in the code, and what are the lengths of each segment. This could be useful in isolating what you are finding.

If you are confident that the receipts in question exist in IC History (ie you can see them on the Transaction History report), you probably should get your Adagio dealer involved with this one.
