We recently started using "Text Blocks" in Order Entry. What a great time saver! We use them for example on an inventory item that has specific warranty instructions. Then we add an active alert to the inventory item to remind us when we are invoicing to add the corresponding text block. It would be even sweeter if we could somehow link item codes to the text blocks so that when the items are entered in Order Entry the text block automatically follows the item on the invoice (or at least asks you if you want it to follow with the text block). Just an idea! Not sure if it's easily implemented into your software code or not.

Alternatively, text blocks could be added to the Inventory module and link enabled to specific items.

Yes, we think it is a good idea. Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to implement some of these after we have shipped AR 9.0A.
