Adagio Payables (8.1A)
I've created a check spec for a client. Everything is just right except, the AdagioMIRC font seems to default to "bold". I can change the font type to bold, italic, bold italic, but CANNOT change the font type to regular.

I've tried to use a different font save as regular type and then revert back to AdagioMIRC font regular, but again the system defaults to the Bold font type.

This is causing a bit of a problem as the bank is telling the client the check spec is being rejected b/c of the "bold" font size in the MIRC encoding fiels.....

Has anyone ran into this? Is there a solution?

Is the printer set to some sort of enhanced or extra dark printing mode? This could appear as "Bold."

No, wish it was. We think it might be a possible bug with the font type setting in Adagio. The font type defaults to "Bold" whenever attempts are made to change it to Regular. The system accepts if we change to "Bold Italics", but the "Regular" font selection seems to be a problem.

Delete the field and re-add it to the specification. It will add with font size 10 and regular font.
