I switched my client to Ledger 9.0.
We are working with current year 2008 & previous year 2007.
When we fire up the Financial Report, we are able to view statements for 2008.
In addition to selecting the Period, isn't there now an option to select the Year? We would like to run the statment for the previous Year 2007, Period 12. I do not see any option to change the Year.

Hmm - I notice that you don't get to specify the retrieve year. FX may have a problem when the "Next" year is open but the prior year has not been closed.

The vertion of LedgerFinRep you mention is for Ledger 9.0A but your post says FX.

When in Ledger 9.0A financial reporter, refresh your toolbar by selecting View | Customize from the menu. On the Toolbars tab, highlight each toolbar name and click the Reset button before highlighting the next toolbar name and doing the same. Then click okay.

You should now be able to see the Fiscal Year dropdown field beside Period dropdown in the toolbar now.

Refreshing the menus opened the option for selecting the year.

Andrew, the client just opened 2008 as the New Year. We would expect to see the Current Year as 2007.
When we close 2007, then we would expect the Current Year to be 2008.

The recent Service Pack to Ledger improves the behaviour of the Financial Reporter and the year/period it opens with.
