I have tried all the resets and multiple datasets with this problem. I also tried reinstalling, but to no avail.
I set-up a new Windows user account and used the existing Adagio install, and this problem has gone away. I kind of wondered if there was a conflict between Adagio and user account control or a local Windows setting, and this 'solution' can't be a coincidence. My IT and programming knowledge is superficial, but since this does not appear to be a widespread user issue, it is likely a local problem. Maybe it's a filename problem, maybe it's another program I have installed, maybe it's gremlins.
