Do you have the option to 'Check History during DIC?' in the Receivables company profile (System Options tab)? It may be that the history has integrity errors, not being found because history was set to be excluded. It may be that the invoice dates are in fact such that as of the report date, they are aged over 90 days.
The sentence you quoted is really just to mean that a report can only ever be as good as the underlying data.
If there are integrity errors, or if the report results continue to be unclear, it may be optimal to contact your Adagio consultant to assist.
