Have you tried setting up a different Windows "printer" for the "2 pages to a single page" option? Creating a 'new' printer to accomodate a different setting may resolve this and would also eliminate the need to visit Adagio's Setup area every time you want to use a different feature.

Because Adagio relies on the printer settings set up in the Windows printer driver selected to print to, this may work more effectively (at least for now).
