If these are real departments (as opposed to department ranges or masks), then you do the Department maintenance within the Adagio Ledger program, not the Financial Reporter. If you delete or rename a department code in Ledger, then the change propogates to the View Departments list within the Financial Reporter.

If you want to delete or rename a department range or mask, open the View Departments screen, click on the desired range/mask, right-click and choose the desired operation to edit or delete.

Should you modify or delete a real department and the changes do not propogate to the View Departments screen in the Financial Reporter, it is possible that the data file that stores the View Departments information (GLDTREE.dat) could be corrupted. This file only saves Range/Mask information (not real departments) but does also save information if you choose to re-sort departments on the View list.
