While I perform the close the current year procedures, I printed the batch status reports in previous year and current year. However, after printing, I was not required to clear the report by the default. So it always asked me to print and clear batch status report when I close the year, but nothing available to print. Therefore, I can not close the current year.
Any help is appreciated!

Make sure that you have all the batch statuses enabled when you print your batch status report. You should be asked if you want to purge the batch status information when you print the report to the printer (not Print Preview).

I don't know why I was not asked to purge. I checked profile, everything looks fine.

Did you preview the report, or print it to a printer/file/PDF? Preview will not give an option to purge, as Andew indicated.

When you first open the Batch Status Report screen, what do you see for a range of batches? Or do you see a range of 0 to 0 and a message that there are no batches? An empty file will show a Current Year batch range of 0 to 0.

Try running a data integrity check. Some older versions of Ledger had a conversion issue where Error batches had a status assigned to them that could not be cleared from the report. DIC will fix this.

I printed to the printer. The screen shows batch 37 to 41 for current year. But I printed a blank report saying: there are no batches to print. What is DIC?

After DIC, it said that data may reqire repair to repair and asked me to contact the dealer. And it shows that 0 of 9 errors is fixed.
