If the quantity ordered, shipped, backordered or returned is in the thousands can you not format these fields to show "1000" and not "1,000"?

That is not an option, for some reason. It's a good request.

The only options for the thousands separater are comma, period or space. There should be the option "none"

Hello Scott and Steve,

This feature has been added in the OrderEntry 93A (2021.09.27) Service Pack:

In the Designer, Properties for Amount fields has a new option for the Thousands separator: None.

Thanks support. Now if you can get the shipped quantity added to the auto invoice feature would be great.

Hello,

Scott, we don't usually add features in Service Packs so your auto-invoice request will need to wait for an Upgrade to OrderEntry. However, the Designer change was a common feature and it was included with other changes made for form printing in OrderEntry.

This Designer feature is also included in the Invoices 9.3B (2021.09.30) Upgrade just released.

Thanks support. I hope the Order Entry upgrade comes out sooner rather than later.

Support we just loaded the latest Order Entry service pack specifically to get rid of the thousands separator and while we can adjust the spec field now to "None" for this option is still prints out the separator.

Is there some other switch or setting that needs to be done?

Hi Scott,

I've taken a look and for me, though the OrderEntry designer was updated to support the None option for the thousands separator, I also do not see the same output for printing live forms - I also see a comma still. I was going to ask if you had saved the spec after making the change, but that isn't the reason for this.

This common feature for the designer was indeed implemented successfully for the Invoices 9.3B update, but it looks like squeezing it in for the OE released in fact also needed a program change to recognize this as well as the update to the designer. I have let R&D know about this - thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Thanks support. Yes I thought originally I had not saved it or was using the wrong spec so I am glad to hear you are getting the same result.

Thanks for posting and will keep an eye out for another update.
