I am hoping to get some assistance with how to best post our 2018 year end inventory. my challenge is that there is transnational data for 2019 so even though i can back date the posting the variance is showing based on the current quantity on hand which is making it challenging to verify the amounts. I think what i need is a report to roll back to the count as of the end of 2018 (dec 31) but i am not sure how to go about getting this? any ideas?

If you didn't create and preserve the physical inventory adjustment worksheets for 2018 then hopefully you have a backup of your data from the time of your 2018 count.

Restoring this backup, creating physical inventory adjustment worksheets for 2018, and applying these to your current database is beyond the scope of this forum.

If you don't have a backup then you will have to manually enter adjustments working from your 2018 year end Item Valuation report.

It would be a good idea to contact your Adagio Consultant for assistance with this issue.
