My client isn't using Sales CQ extensively as a collections tool. He would like to be able to attach invoices to collection emails. Am I missing something, or is this not an option?

If not, please add I think to the suggestion list.

Hi Carol,

We're currently working on the next upgrade for SalesCQ. It will have the common Adagio 9.2 features, including attaching other documents to emails in the queue.

Would the collection emails be sent out of SalesCQ? By Mail Merge or a different way? And I presume the invoice attachments are created by OrderEntry PDF?

Note that Adagio Receivables already has a feature to attach unpaid invoices to Customer statements, when used with Adagio ePrint. Perhaps this is also an interesting solution for your client?

Currently he sends all of the collections items via Sales CQ mail merge. He would like the option to send the email and an option to attach all outstanding invoices at that time.

While we are suggesting, it would be helpful to have more fields available in the mail merge, such as fields from the invoices and statements tab in AR customers. I would assume that that is in the list for improvement.

Any ETA for the new release? We understand that this is an estimate, not a guaranteed date.

OK, so the request is for SalesCQ to mimic the behaviour of AR statements to be able to attach all unpaid invoices. I can write up the request, though I will say that it is will be more difficult for SalesCQ to determine which PDFs are related to outstanding invoices than Receivables can. You may be better off to investigate how the AR statements process works, as it is doable today.

I will also note the request for more fields to be available in the Mail Merge.

Any estimate I give for an ETA will certainly be wrong, perhaps significantly so, so it's best not to go there.

Adagio Receivables is already capable of sending a statement with all the unpaid invoices automatically attached (assuming they were generated by OrderEntry or Invoices).

Yes, we know -- and that is a fantastic feature!

However, my client makes heavy use of the Contacts scan and generates communications based upon these. The automatic piece is what he likes, it makes collections communications super easy to manage.
